The Shields are spiritual shields that protect our loved ones andourselves. Each shield is filled with exciting combinations of stitches and threads. The shields are then combined in patterns, which give the negative space interest as well. There is an in-depth study of complex stitches and changing fiber color, manipulating both into painted lines and shapes. You will work with metal Pearl Purl and learn techniques to maximize the effect. Beading will be a major part of the design.
