Samburu - Needlepoint Kit -
Drawing inspiration from the beautiful jewelry of the Samburu tribe of Kenya, this necklace presents an array of wonderful stitches using overdyes, metallics and richly colored silks. The needlepoint design is finished as an amulet. The useful, and easy to follow finishing techniques you learn can be used time and again. Ultrasuede tassel making and beading will be taught in order to complete your piece of wearable art. This ethnic looking needlepoint design gives the piece both a tribal and modern. There are three different colorways to choose from.
Stitched on 18 count canvas.
Design size: 3.75" x 2" amulet and 46" necklace
Kit contents: Kit will include beautiful silk, metallic and cotton threads, as well as pearls, beads, metal findings and Ultrasuede for embellishment. There will be detailed instructions illustrations and beautiful color laminated charts.
