Let There Be Light - Needlepoint Kit -
I stitched this design during dark times in our country’s not so distant past. I sat down to express my longing for hope and a ray of light. The Hebrew letters on the piece are a quotation from the book Genesis, the first day of the creation; Vayehie or, Let there be light.
The first step will be painting the canvas. This instruction will involve the process of color blending, blocking and color shading along with the uniqueness of painting on needlepoint canvas. Next the stitching instructions which will include many texturizing techniques.
